The Turner County Fair is a long-running event in Parker, SD featuring 4-H exhibits, delicious food, commercial exhibits, a midway, and contests. It's free and run by a 31-member volunteer board with over 200 volunteers. The fair serves as an unofficial end to summer and gives local 4-H members the chance to showcase their projects.

The Dallas Arms Collectors Association Gun Knife Show promotes the education and protection of arms collecting to enhance appreciation for historical struggles for freedom and the importance of the Second Amendment in preserving a free society in the USA.
