Australasian Aquaculture 2012 has been the premier aquaculture event in the Asia Pacific region for almost a decade now. The inaugural Australasian Aquaculture Conference and Trade Show, hosted by NSW Fisheries took place in 2004 at the Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre. Since then, the event has been held biennially in capital cities near the major aquaculture production regions of Australia. Skretting Australasian Aquaculture 2012 will take place at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre, the only 6 Star Green Star Convention Centre in the world.
