Stuttgart at the weekend will again become the Mecca for coin collectors, gold and silver investors, numismatics newcomers and bargain hunters. In addition to a wealth of modern and historic coins from around the world attracts the traditional Stuttgart Coin Fair this year with a small sensation: Every visitor to the possibility of "normal" 50 Cent is exchangeable into one of the most coveted and rare 50-cent Vatican coins with the pope portrait! From 31st January to 5th February 2012 the 31st JAGD & HUND, Europes leading exhibition for hunting and fishing, will again open its doors for six exhibition days and present a shopping and adventure paradise for all hunting, angling dog and nature enthusiasts on its approx. 48.000 m2 of area. JAGD & HUND has yet again strengthened its market position through the success of the recent anniversary event. In six exhibition halls, the exhibitors will present their extensive range of products and services, focussing on the fields of hunting (hunting equipment/clothing, hunting dogs, hunting trips, hunting weapons, off-road vehicles) as well as angling (angling equipment/accessories, angling clothing, angling trips)to the interested visitors. For this fourth edition of Brussels, the Affordable Art Fair (AAF) has more than 90 Belgian and international galleries 9 to 12 February 2012 on the site of Tour & Taxis. With the collaboration of the Mondriaan Fund and the Embassy of the Netherlands in Spain, ARCOmadrid hosts a representation of Dutch art organisations convened by the Barcelona-based curatorial office Latitudes. The Dutch Assembly is an accumulation of thirty hourly talks, readings, artists presentations, performances, book launches, conversations and screenings throughout the five days of ARCOmadrid which take place within a specially-commissioned spiral "Superstructure" by artist Jasper Niens and designer Thijs Ewalts. As well as featuring the most important Dutch contemporary art venues and exhibition spaces, the events include those led by artists, commissioning agencies, academies, research programmes, and magazines and form a series of ‘depositions' highlighting the exemplary work being done in the Netherlands. The Dutch Assembly seeks to address cultural practice in a rapidly-changing economic and political climate from the Dutch perspective in an international context as well as reflecting on the artistic links between Spain and the Netherlands. International fair for modern art.The art KARLSRUHE is building upon the success of earlier events, every one of which exceeded the wildest expectations.   The number of visitors is rising steadily from year to year. Turnover is growing and as a result exhibitors' interest is as well. In 2011 roughly 160 international galleries will be assuring and enhancing the high standard of the fair. Generous areas dedicated to sculptural works, an unusual abundance of one-artist shows, and special showcases will again be characteristic features of this unique event. The art meeting, the expert forum with discussions for all fair-goers to listen to and take part in, also proved very popular and is therefore going to be repeated.
