It requires expertise in various disciplines like civil engineering, foundations, concrete, and steel erection.
The energy industry is currently utilizing optical sensing to enhance asset performance. Strain measurement and interpretation technologies are expanding the use of fiber-optic sensing in traditional and unconventional oil & gas applications. This technology can also be applied to carbon capture/utilization/storage and geothermal energy harvesting.
