She holds the position of Senior VP of Global DEIB and People APAC EMEA at Ever Commerce. Karen's commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging stems from her personal identity. Starting as a Geography Teacher, she transitioned into the Zoo industry, eventually becoming the CEO of Wellington Zoo. Karen is actively involved in various roles within the World Association of Zoos and Aquariums (WAZA), advocating for animal welfare and environmental sustainability. Her passion lies in connecting people with animals and promoting lifelong learning through conservation education in Zoos and Aquariums.
