The importance of understanding and avoiding thermoacoustic instabilities in gas turbine combustors and rocket engines has led to separate research networks. The third Symposium on Thermoacoustics in Combustion (SoTiC) will be held in 2023 at ETH Zürich to foster collaboration and discussions among specialists in the field. Invited speakers from industry and research groups will share their insights on current thermoacoustic research.

The Intelligent Maintenance Conference, previously known as the Smart Maintenance Conference, is an international event gathering experts from industry and academia to discuss new perspectives in intelligent maintenance systems. Organized by the Intelligent Maintenance and Operations Systems lab at EPFL Lausanne, the conference will take place in September 2023, with an updated program to be announced as speakers confirm their participation.

UNIDIR's annual Outer Space Security Conference brings together diplomats, military experts, industry professionals, and academics to discuss challenges and solutions related to space security.
