Graduate students encounter various stressors like academic pressure, financial worries, and balancing multiple responsibilities. These can negatively impact their mental health and productivity. To address this, our stress-management workshop offers practical strategies for success in graduate school while reducing stress, anxiety, and burnout. It is organized under our Research Excellence Workshop Leader Initiative (REWLI).
Jenna Scherger will defend their thesis titled "Towards understanding interfaces in carbon nitride photocatalytic and (photo)electrochemical systems" for a Master of Science degree in Biology. The abstract discusses human-carnivore conflict and its impact on safety, livelihoods, animal welfare, and ecological integrity. The study focuses on interactions between people and wolves in Pacific Rim National Park Reserve, Canada.
Call for workshop papers on self-improvement, self-adaptation, self-organization, and self-integration, with a focus on the challenges of designing and integrating technical systems that pervade our daily lives.
