This event is a concealed carry class that exceeds the education requirements for applying for a Connecticut Pistol Permit and a non-resident permit from Arizona. The class is held in partnership with Cabela's in East Hartford, CT and consists of 8 hours of training, including classroom and range time. Firearms and ammunition will be provided. The class also covers reciprocity agreements and legal requirements for carrying a concealed firearm in different states. Students are required to bring a valid ID, printed email ticket, pen and paper, and bottled water. Fingerprinting services may be available during class. The instructors are experienced and certified by various organizations. Legal Heat also offers online training and produces a comprehensive guide to firearm laws.
