The importance of transitioning to greener aviation is clear, especially in the regional aviation sector. Norway, with over 40 airports, heavily relies on small to midsize aircraft for its regional network. The ZERAC23 hosts, including Green Aviation Norway and the Ministries of Transport and Climate and Environment, are committed to promoting this transition. Green Aviation Norway, established in 2022 by key industry players and regulators, aims to coordinate and facilitate the process. The agenda for ZERAC23 includes a networking lunch and Session 3, which focuses on safe and efficient testing of technology and new concepts within a regulatory sandbox.
