Rainy River Valley Agricultural Society hosts a Fall Fair held the third weekend in August each year at the fairgrounds in Emo, Ontario, Canada. The fair has a variety of events from livestock and exhibits, to a midway and stock-car races.

On Tour Day, we will visit the Van Dusen Botanical Garden, where you can enjoy a variety of exotic plants and beautiful landscapes. After a hot breakfast, we will have informative sessions on various topics, such as water gardening in non-tropical environments and the impact of climate change. Our keynote speaker, Demi Fortuna, will discuss the state of the water garden industry.

The fair had fewer vendors and exhibits due to Covid, but the crowds were there. Enjoyed the usual fair attractions and crafts. Tickets sell out for grandstands, so buy in advance. Happy to have the fair back after a couple of years. Despite the heat, had a great time and impressed by the free pass for my son's attendant who loved the Spider ride.
