Challenges still remain, however, about the logistics of companion diagnostics, the legitimacy of patient independence and the redistribution of profit within the healthcare technology sector. The ultimate question of whether we can create a treatment specific for a patient, rather than a disease necessitates an ability to communicate with key opinion leaders, successful companies and academic leaders within the field, and conferences such as this are an integral part of that process.

The XXXIII.
